Pontes started in 2001 with coaching and assessment for technical and commercial organisations. That work kept showing the same thing: people rarely fail on knowledge. It is about having a grip on your own work, sensing what is going on, and choosing whether or not to take something on.
That is where the Q‑model came from: five qualities that together explain why development lands with one person and not with another. No typology, no colour, but five things that can change.
Today the market calls this human skills. We were doing it before it was a category, and we have supported 15,000 people with it.
